outer reach - new album 

Inspired by Sonny Rollins' "East Broadway Run Down," I wrote these compositions specifically for the saxophone trio format. With Brother Ruckus on drums and Gary Johnson on bass, we embraced the vulnerability—no chords, nowhere to hide. Recorded in the Bay Area, "Outer Reach" captures our constant dialogue, three voices becoming one, finding freedom in the space between notes. The album is coming soon.

The Single Petal of a Rose 

Released July 2024, this album captures my collaboration with pianist Omree Gal-Oz in intimate dialogue. We reimagined works by Duke Ellington, Thelonious Monk, Joe Henderson, and Wayne Shorter alongside original compositions, letting each piece breathe with space and emotion. The saxophone-piano duo format allowed us to explore vulnerability and trust, where the compositions themselves carry the weight.

Ich Ultra

Solo project recorded during confinement using saxophones, flute, bass clarinet, caxixi, Ableton Live, piano, and a lot of coffee. Features contributions from Nino Moschella (drums), Ian McArdle (synths), Vincent de Jesus (percussion), Guillaume Farley (bass), and Oliver Twist (barks). Mixed through analog Studer tape at Nino's studio, mastered by John Greenham in LA. Artwork by Alex Besikian. 20 tracks of exploration - a soundtrack without a movie. Released July 13, 2023.

BARRIO MANOUCHE

I have the pleasure of being a member of the mighty Barrio Manouche. We fuse gypsy jazz, flamenco, and Latin-American rhythms under the direction of Spanish guitarist Javi Jiménez, and this mostly for the best. We are a San Francisco-based ensemble drawing from the international roots of our members—spanning Spain, France, Brazil, Colombia, Quebec, and the United States. Our sound is charged, and Javi's original compositions create what one critic calls "a rich, gorgeous blend of acoustic Latin-French jazz that transports audiences on a magical journey through diverse musical landscapes. With virtuosic instrumentation and infectious energy, they deliver an unforgettable live experience."
